    Meals for Virtual Learners

Beginning on Monday, October 12th, each child will receive five (5) complete breakfasts and lunches for the week.  This will continue every Monday until December 14th.  The only exception will be Monday, November 23rd.  School will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
The meals will be shelf stable or frozen.  Some items will require refrigeration or freezing until ready to eat or reheat.  Storing and heating instruction will be given with each meal.  You will receive 10 cartons of milk with each child's meals.  If you are picking up for multiple children and do not have refrigerator space for the quantity of milk, you may decline a portion of it.
The drive-thru pick up will be from 9:30 am until 10:30 am near the cafeteria.  Signs will be on site.
Please DO NOT call the school office or cafeteria if you miss the assigned day and time.  You will be able to pick up the following Monday.  If you miss picking up the child(ren)'s meals for two consecutive weeks, you will need to call the number listed below.

Message from STMS

Hello and welcome to South Tattnall Middle School! On behalf of the faculty and staff I would like to thank you for entrusting your child to our care. Our goal is to make sure your child receives the best middle school experience possible. There are a few things you can do to help us meet our goal. First, make sure your child attends school every day, for the entire school day. Second, emphasize the importance of being responsible for his/her learning. Third, encourage your child to pay attention during class and seek help as needed. Fourth, help your child develop and utilize effective study skills. Finally, encourage your child to participate in extra-curricular activities such as sports or clubs. STMS is dedicated to doing “Whatever It Takes” to make sure we have a great year!
